I was thinking about social media and being a planner I was wondering about how I can be more productive with planning ahead for posts. Do you ever look back through your camera roll and think 'Argh, I forgot to post that!'? I do this a lot as life naturally gets busy, but then most of the time the photo then isn't posted at all as the window has been lost... unless it becomes a throw back post. SO, what can I do about this? How can I be more social media productive and increase my social-ductivity, yes I totally made that up.
I thought about adding colour coding to my month view in my planner but I have so many scribbles in there already that I didn't think I would be able to make sense of it! What about notes and ideas? They won't fit. Then I thought I would try a new social media planner, not a physical separate planner (as let's face it, I have enough of those!) but a plan for my planner. Are you lost yet? Let me show you...
This is just a brain dump style example and isn't actually what I'm planning to do on Social Media but you get the idea. I'm going to print a few of these and then use colour coding for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Blogging and creating Newsletters. If a post is supposed to go on all Social Media platforms on the same day then I will add different coloured hearts next to the post rather than writing it out several times. What do you think? I can then plan the next few months for regular posts and start planning for new ones.
